2010 Sakura Culinary Trip: Gyoza Stadium at Namja Town, Sunshine City, Ikebukuro

Leaving Karuizawa we arrived at Tokyo – the Capital City of Japan!  Gyoza Stadium is located at Namco Namja Town at Sunshine City, Ikebukuro.  Entrance to Namja Town is 300Yen and you get free entry to Gyoza Stadium, Icecream City and Massage World.

The mascot of Namja Town is “Mr Cat”.  Gyoza Stadium has 11 stores featuring different regions of Gyoza (Fried Dumplings).

The first store we visited was An Tei (安亭) – it ranked number one among 1800 shops in Japan.  An Tei’s dumplings tasted the BEST at Gyoza Stadium.  The dumplings were juicy and the dumpling skin was pan-fried to a crispy texture.  Oishii!

Paou (包王) features Wagyu Gyozas and they used one of the top beef in Japan.  500Yen for four pieces.  Yum!

Next we tried Kirrase’s and by then we were really full and our stomach was full of DUMPLINGS!  May be we had ordered too much?  But we just want to sample as many varieties as possible!

 More Gyozas!  More Gyozas!

Ice-Cream City!  Time for desserts!  This place is like a heaven… sampling all sorts of icecream around Japan from Hokkaido to Okinawa!
