What a wonderful morning at Kusatsu Onsen – full of sulphur smell 😛 After a wonderful Kaiseki Dinner at Hotel Ichii we are going to say Sayonara to Kusatsu.

Our Breakfast Buffet was located at the Araragi no ma Banquet Hall on second floor of Hotel Ichii. I loved the omelette with ketchup! Delicious! The Japanese soft-boiled egg (onsen egg) was also Oishii!
Onsen is a private area and no cameras are allowed 😛 I being naughty took a few photos during early morning when no one was bathing. I really want to share with you the tranquil ambience at the outdoor hot spring with beautiful snowfall.
Bye Bye Kusatsu! Karuizawa here we come! Our bus ticket allowed us to stop at a few tourist destinations but it was snowing everywhere… so we had to deroute our trip to Karuizawa Prince Outlet Shopping Plaza instead.
Our bus driver had to skillfully drive through all the “frozen trees”!

We had lunch at Trattoria Buon Dale at Karuizawa, it is located at the “food street” Aji no Machi inside the huge shopping outlet. Buon Dale is an Italian restaurant serving Japanese style pasta dish. Our seafood spaghetti was fresh and tasty! Enough energy for more travelling!
